Hi. My name is Terry and I am a mom of 5 wonderful children. I am the wife of Eric, a soldier. I am a firefighter/EMT. I decided to start a blog to chronicle my family’s journey through my husband’s deployment to Iraq. I like to write for comfort since it helps me get my feelings out without a verbal confrontation or explosion and decided this was the way to share the ups and downs of our family life over this next year.
I want to introduce my children. McKenna is 11 and she is in 6th grade. Mckenna loves to play soccer and clarinet. She is a sweet girl who is a great help to me. Aislinn is about to turn 10 and she is a lot like me. She doesn’t like nonsense and a disordered world. She has mutliple challenges that have made her a strong girl with strong opinions. Aidan is my 7 year old son who challenges me daily. He is a very loving boy who just wants his fair share of time and attention, and everyone elses too! Aidan loves to play soccer and baseball and is an avid boy scout. He has a great sense of humor and is always a favorite with his teachers. Orren is my 3 year old, he will be four next weekend! Orren is my sweet little man. An old man in a small body. He is so much fun. He likes to cuddle and read books or just to play by himself. Aaron is my 13 month old son who was born 7 weeks prematurely last summer. He is a beautiful boy with his dad’s red curls and the brightest blue eyes I have ever seen. He is an adventurous little guy who is always into something he shouldn’t be in. His newest trick is opening the cereal containers to get a snack. And to make a mess.
