I can’t believe it is only noon. This day has gone so slow. I don’t know what to do with myself and nothing really interests me. I did paint a few more stools for my Christmas gifts, and added the transfers to one of them. I should start sorting through my Christmas decorations, but I just don’t feel like going to the basement to get started. It is raining and very cold today.
Aidan is finally feeling better and his hives are gone. Aaron is also feeling better and the allergy medication seems to be the answer we have been hunting.
The girls come home tonight and I can’t wait. I miss them a lot. Tomorrow we are going to my mom’s to bake cookies. That should get us into the Christmas spirit. I really want to decorate the house and maybe get the tree this weekend. The kids enjoy that so much. Of course, before I put the tree up, I need to shampoo this carpet. It looks terrible. I am so ready for the holiday to get here. I miss Eric so much that it hurts and I really miss having someone to share in the fun of the season. Only a few short weeks to go before he is home and Christmas is here. I can’t wait!
